Yes, yes, yes! That said, I don't equate feminism with short hair, I like mine long, but Instagram sure isn't going to tell me how I should wear it. It wouldn't matter anyway. My hair is the total opposite of yours. Mine is crazy thick and full of unruly curls (we're talking Carrot Top on a bad day). I grew up in the 70s and 80s and wanted Farrah Fawcett hair, that was THE standard at the time.

My hair won't ever fall into those soft curls. I don't have what my mother used to call "white girl hair;" I got my daddy's hair and Instagram can just fu*k off with their hair posts.
