Yikes! Yeah, I remember no air conditioning in schools, but that was the 70s/80s and really there weren't that many hot days. Not like now.

I really hadn't noticed the change in weather as dramatically as it has been this year. There was literally no spring. Just winter and then bam, summer.

"I don't have to shovel hot." That has got to be the best line of the day, and a very good point. I really don't like either extreme, but prefer the cold to the extreme heat. A couple years ago, it got up to 49 degrees (that's 120 F) (with the humidity) and it was AWFUL!
