You can be white, male and from a first world country and still have a valid point. I'm from Canada, it's a first world country, last time I checked...but hey with the economy, who knows.

You hit exactly what I was trying to accomplish. The term white privilege causes people to bristle, it instills a very emotional reaction, almost accusatory. When in fact, it isn't, it's a statement of how things are due to a specific historical and societal history.

I think you and I are saying pretty much the same thing, just in different words.
