You do?? YAY!!! My husband read my story and the first thing he said was, "I hate that song and that pasty face guy." It's a good song.

And yeah, I was so devastated by the Alex/Ellen split. In many ways, Alex P. Keaton was the male version of me, although exaggerated. I was small, precocious and cute as well as right-leaning and loved Ronald Regan (not for his policies, just because I was fascinated by the fact that he was older than time itself in my mind). I wasn't the blowhard Alex was though and certainly did not have hippy parents. But you get the idea, breaking Alex's heart was breaking MY heart.

But yes, they did end up together in real life and that's awesome.
