I'm sorry about your chickens, that had to have been devastating. My puppy Rudy once cornered a chicken, he put his paw on it and stared at it until the farmer picked it up (but he's a herding breed, so maybe that's what they do). He didn't harm a feather on the bird's head, thank goodness.

This guy has now been put on notice that his dogs or the visiting dogs, whatever dogs cannot be left to run loose. If he allows them to, well, he gets what he gets be it a fine, a lawsuit, whatever.
