You're suggesting that I'm making some sort of blanket statement and that's not the case. I assume you know that. And as someone with degrees in Political Science, Psychology and Law (as well as just living on this planet for well over 5 decades), I'm well aware that hardline Kamala voters and hardline Trump voters are not the same people.
However, and I tried to explain this in the beginning of the story, I am responding to a specific question that was asked, not giving a treatise on political psychology. I could easily do a comprehensive review, because as you pointed out, as a whole, it is more complicated. But Medium isn't the place for that review. We'd be here all day trying to slog through it.
I presented a simple answer to her question here, which again was specific to white women who said one thing and evidently did another. There were certainly people (not only white women) who may have outwardly supported Kamala but voted the other way (out of what I assume was perceived self-interest). I'm sure there were people who did the reverse as well.
